Hardness testing in A&B

Following our last update about the new electrical ovens in our Italian and Polish plant for the annealing and thermal stress relief of turned components, let’s dive deeper into this new matter: stress relieving and annealing helps by parts performance to avoid distortion in service, cracking or splitting, or to resist corrosive environments.

To determine the properties of treated metal parts and help determine if the metal in question meets all specifications required by clients, a micro/macro Vickers hardness tester has been acquired in our Italian and Polish plant.

This cutting-edge tester and its innovative software achieve absolute accuracy, reliability and repeatability, on all of the forces used for a testing thanks to its new sensor technology which eliminates user influence on test results.
