Star 38

In A&B company we have a new brand machine: the Star 38. This machine is a sliding headstock lathe of the SR series feature with the traditional characteristics of a Swiss-Type lathe and the possibility of sliding headstock machining. In addition to the simultaneous front/back machining of turning, drilling, tapping and milling, it is possible to perform drilling, milling.

The Star 38 machine is equipped with Star motion control system and as follows:

• a gang-type tool post
• a main spindle and a sub spindle
• a 10-station turret-type tool post
• a back working unit with Y-axis control

So now with this machine our company reached a higher performance level in machining
large-diameter and complex-shaped workpieces with an increase of operability and workability.
